NSSLHA members and SLP students have been cordially invited to take part in this worthy volunteer effort. There is a site-based program and a community-based program, which are designed to fit your personal schedule.
Bornhava
Bornhava is approved by the New York State Education Department to provide programming for young children with developmental disabilities and to offer support and resources for their caregivers. Intervention plans are developed for children with mental and physical challenges, sensory deficits, communication delays, and various developmental disabilities. Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center
The Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center provides comprehensive treatment for adults and children with speech-language and/or hearing impairments. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available - visit the Buffalo Hearing and Speech center website for more information.
Summit Educational Resources
Summit provides educational and therapeutic services to children with learning, communication, and behavioral challenges.
