Dr. Anita Senthinathan joined the Speech Language Pathology Department at Buffalo State University in Fall 2019. Prior to this, she worked as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University and Lecturer at Western University in Canada.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Speech and Language Sciences and MClSc. in Speech Language Pathology from Western University in Ontario, Canada. Her research interests include understanding the causal mechanisms associated with motor speech disorders, providing new descriptions of the effects of neurological disease on speech processes, and studying the effects of new and current medical treatment procedures on speech.
Dr. Senthinathan enjoys reading about different cultures, trying new cuisines, and travelling. She aspires to use her clinical and clinical-research expertise to provide aid and/or training in the global community.
