Lauren Beckwith is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and a graduate of SUNY Buffalo State. Her clinical approach is neurodivergent-affirming, grounded in the belief that all children deserve to be supported in ways that honor their individual communication styles and developmental paths. Lauren specializes in using play, co-regulation, and movement-based strategies to foster communication, with a focus on building strong, meaningful connections with both children and their caregivers. She is passionate about “meeting kids where they are,” and creating supportive, responsive environments that empower children to express themselves authentically. In addition to her clinical work, Lauren enjoys supervising graduate students in speech-language pathology. She finds great fulfillment in helping emerging clinicians build confidence, develop their skills, and cultivate a compassionate, strengths-based approach to therapy.
