Aphasia Support Group: Stroke and Hope
Our goals are to have fun, find support, and become more effective communicators.
Our group is composed of members who have acquired aphasia due to strokes, brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, or other causes. Individuals with aphasia and their children, spouses, parents, and friends are group members. All levels of communication are welcome; it does not matter how easy or how hard it is for you to communicate. Some members use assistive devices or communication books, while others use a combination of gestures, speech, and writing to communicate.
