Amy J. Crockford joined Buffalo State in 2011 as an American Sign Language Instructor and now is the American Sign Language Program Coordinator and a full-time Lecturer with graduate faculty status. She has known ASL for 41 years and has taught many courses at 5 different WNY colleges.  Amy’s passion is educating students about Deaf culture and teaching students how to communicate with Deaf community members. She is also a Deaf interpreter, wife, mom to 2 boys, absolute dog lover and children’s book author to promote Deaf Awareness.
