Dr. Insalaco’s research interests lie in treatment of neurogenic communication disorders, particularly in reading treatments for persons with aphasia and other brain injuries. She teaches neurogenic communication disorders courses, supervises students in the on-campus speech-language-hearing clinic, and volunteers as facilitator of a community-based aphasia support group.
