Since 2021, Libby A. Lutz, M.S.Ed., CCC-SLP has been a New York State licensed and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist, servicing children with communication disabilities in elementary school settings. After obtaining a B.A. in Digital Media and Communication from Hilbert College, she joined Buffalo State College in 2017 as a post-baccalaureate student of speech-language pathology. Libby graduated from Buffalo State College in May 2020 with an M.S.Ed in Speech-Language Pathology, immediately beginning her career as a school-based therapist for Orchard Park Central Schools. In 2023, she began teaching as an Adjunct Lecturer at Buffalo State University’s Speech-Language Pathology Department.

Clinical Interests & Expertise
As a school-based speech-language pathologist, Libby has an innate interest in treating elementary school-aged children with articulation disorders, motor speech disorders such as childhood apraxia of speech, fluency disorders, and childhood receptive-expressive language disorders. She is interested in how therapy tools are developed, and even created by therapists themselves, to suit the needs of their students. Other interests include: Principles of visual communication, building foundational literacy skills, technology integration, intentional design, and positive performance outcomes.
